After 9 months of trialling, modifications & re-trialling, BTK was officially launched in a blaze of Glory at Perth's Mirrabooka Shopping Centre on Sunday November 5th 2000. Thanks to a half page article on page 3 of WA's Sunday Times on the same day, Mirrabooka Shopping Centre was packed with very eager junior soccer fans along with some very curious onlookers.
The release of Australia’s most unique, novel, exciting & interactive soccer promotion saw an unprecedented demand for this unique product throughout the grass roots soccer arena ... that still continues today. The launch proved to be an outstanding success to say the least & has since paved the way for BTK becoming Perth’s number #1 undisputed soccer promotion.
Originally, BTK was purpose built & initially marketed exclusively as a competition promotion for shopping centres throughout the metro area. However, such was the diverse interest from the general public & sporting bodies, BTK rapidly expanded its horizons into many other different markets including;
